Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
These terms explain the baseline rules for using PostZen, including the dashboard, API, social account connections, publishing tools, billing, and support.
Agreement
PostZen is operated by Dead Unicorn Inc., a company located in Alberta, Canada. These terms apply when you visit PostZen, create an account, connect social accounts, use our dashboard or API, or otherwise use the service.
If you use PostZen for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Accounts and workspaces
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity in your account, workspaces, connected profiles, and API keys.
- You must promptly revoke access, rotate keys, or contact us if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
Connected platforms
PostZen helps you connect third-party social platforms and publish, schedule, manage, or analyze content where supported. You authorize PostZen to use the tokens, scopes, settings, media, and instructions you provide to perform those actions.
- You are responsible for complying with each connected platform policy, developer rule, content policy, and account requirement.
- For YouTube publishing, you are responsible for selecting the correct connected YouTube channel, video, title, description, visibility, tags, Made for Kids designation, subscriber notification choice, and any other required settings before PostZen uploads the video to YouTube.
- When you upload to YouTube through PostZen, you must comply with the YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube Community Guidelines, copyright rules, privacy rights, and other YouTube policies that apply to your content. The YouTube Terms are available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
- For TikTok publishing, you are responsible for selecting the correct TikTok account, direct-post or inbox-upload mode, visibility, interaction settings, commercial-content disclosures, and any required confirmations before PostZen sends your selected media and post information to TikTok.
- Third-party platforms may change, suspend, rate limit, reject, remove, or stop supporting features at any time.
- Disconnecting a platform in PostZen or revoking access with the platform may stop future publishing or related features.
Content and media
- You retain ownership of the content and media you submit to PostZen.
- You grant us the rights needed to host, process, copy, display, transmit, publish, schedule, and otherwise operate PostZen for your content and media.
- You must have all rights, permissions, and clearances needed for the content, media, names, likenesses, trademarks, and data you submit.
- PostZen uploads YouTube videos to the YouTube channel you connect and select. PostZen does not claim ownership of your uploaded YouTube content, and you remain responsible for any rights, copyright, privacy, child-safety, and platform-policy obligations that apply to that content.
- For TikTok posts and inbox uploads, you must comply with TikTok policies, including music, branded-content, commercial-content disclosure, visibility, and other posting requirements that apply to your content.
- You must not submit unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
API usage
- You must protect API keys and other credentials and may not share them publicly.
- You may not bypass rate limits, security controls, authentication, billing, or platform restrictions.
- You may not use PostZen to send spam, scrape without permission, interfere with systems, or violate laws or third-party rights.
- We may throttle, reject, suspend, or disable API requests that create risk, abuse, security issues, or service instability.
Billing
Paid plans, usage charges, pass-through platform costs, taxes, and billing terms are shown in the product, pricing page, order flow, or related agreement. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider we use.
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You are responsible for keeping billing information current and paying amounts due.
Service changes and availability
PostZen depends on third-party platforms, APIs, cloud providers, and payment providers. We may change, add, suspend, or remove features as the product and those providers change.
We work to keep PostZen reliable, but the service is provided without uptime, error-free, or uninterrupted availability guarantees unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using PostZen at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use PostZen in a way that may harm the service, users, platforms, or third parties.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use PostZen. It is part of the context for these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
PostZen is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dead Unicorn Inc. disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties implied by course of dealing or usage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dead Unicorn Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or platform account impacts arising from use of PostZen.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules.
