No. Nothing gets posted until you say yes. Each skill shows the exact content, account and time first, and all publishing goes through /ig-publish. You can approve a single post or a whole week’s schedule. After publishing, /ig-publish reads the post status back to verify the post went live. Comment moderation hides comments rather than deleting them.

Instagram Business and Creator accounts, which Instagram calls professional accounts. Personal accounts cannot connect. Switching is free and reversible (Settings and activity > Account type and tools > Switch to professional account), but a private account becomes public when you switch.

Claude Code (or Codex) gets the full setup: all 14 skills installed, the Python tools that score hooks and check captions, and the PostZen MCP server. The Claude app cannot install skills from a chat, so it gets a lighter path. PostZen is required for anything that touches your account: publishing, scheduling, reading and answering comments, DMs, comment-to-DM automations and analytics.

Yes. PostZen manages the Meta developer app, the app review and the tokens, so Claude uses Instagram’s official Content Publishing API. There is no scraping. PostZen generates the connect link; the page it opens is Instagram’s own login, which asks for your Instagram username and password, and Claude never sees them.
